In 1989, David Blinick takes on the position of President and CEO of the company, a role he still maintains. Prior to founding Blinco Systems, David spent 20 years as CFO of food importer S. Blinick Company Ltd. Since 1994, David’s brother, Edward (Ned) Blinick, has been the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Blinco Systems. Before joining the company, Ned acted as CEO of S. Blinick Company Ltd. The company, privately held and based in Toronto, Canada, began as a developer of business software solutions for Importers and Exporters. In its founding year, Blinco Systems introduced its 3rdwave application, one of the first fully automated, integrated enterprise solutions for organizations involved in Global Commerce Management. This version was written in Informix 4GL language and operated on the Oracle and Informix relational databases. By 1998, Blinco Systems launched its 3rdwave GCM client-server application for Global Commerce Management.
